How we can make your visit easier
We know that not everyone finds it easy to use our services in the way that we normally offer them. That's why we've produced a variety of supporting documents and adjusted procedures, so that more people can reach us without difficulty.
When visiting our office, one of our outreach locations or receiving a home visit, just let our staff/volunteers know if you need:
Large print forms/leaflets or a magnifying glass
Use of a hearing aid loop
Coloured overlays to use with printed text
Translation/interpreter services for BSL and languages other than English (via a third party).
Support for neurodivergent conditions
Our quietest time during the week is normally a Monday afternoon, when we offer a relaxed afternoon.
If you want to drop-in during a more relaxed time, we recommend coming to see us between 2-3.30pm on Monday afternoons, when we dim the light, reduce the amount of noise in the reception area and have our social story on display. Our advisers will also be alert to any adjustments you might need.
To find out who you might see or talk to when coming to visit us, see our meet the team section.
